How long will the spray tan last?
The classic answer is about 6-8 days. However, your tan may last much longer with proper preparation and maintenance! A great tan extending lotion will extend the life of your tan as well!
When should I get sprayed if I have an event on a Saturday?
We suggest getting your spray tan 1-3 days prior to your event! So be sure to schedule appropriately!
I’m pregnant, can I get a tan?
YES! We would be honored. But please check with your doctor first!
What’s the difference between your tans?
The differences are processing time (classic&luxury process for 8-12 hours & express is just 3-6 hours) and shade (level of darkness)! If you're not sure which tan to schedule, that's okay! Select any single session and we will decide together at your consultation which will be best for your skin tone, desired result and schedule the rest of that day/evening!
How do I know which tan to schedule?
If you’ve never been sprayed with us before, select luxury tan. We will decide at your session which bronze will be best for your skin type and desired result with a thorough consultation.
WHY WOULD I GET AN EXPRESS TAN INSTEAD OF A CLASSIC OR LUXURY?
Express tans are great for clients who are limited on time! You can achieve an amazing tan with half the amount of processing time! Or this tan is a great option for clients who like to rinse off before bed .... no washing your sheets ;) !
Will the spray tan stain my clothes?
The bronzer from the tan may rub off onto your clothes, sheets, etc. That is why we do suggest wearing long-sleeved, dark clothing to wear while your tan is processing until your first rinse!
What types of payment do you Accept?
Cash, Debit/Credit Cards! Tips are accepted through Venmo as well!
How many people can I have in my group session?
We can serve up to 12 guests in a bride tribe or other group session as long as timing permits! If you need to schedule your bride tribe please email Brynn @ firstname.lastname@example.org !
I’m really fair-skinned, am I going to look orange?
Absolutely not. The majority of our clients are fair-skinned! Our lighter clients absolutely love our solutions and technique. You will look amazingly natural as long as you be sure to properly prepare for your tan and use proper products to maintain!
What is the powder you use?
We use a spray tan-formulated quick-dry finishing powder at the end of your session to give you a more comfortable processing experience! It’s our clients’ absolute favorite!
What soaps and lotions should I avoid?
It’s best to avoid any products that contain alcohol, mineral oil, sulfates, parabens, and fragrance. Simply put, it’s best to use all-natural products or products made for spray tans. We also carry all spray tan designed products!
*Please avoid the use of Dove soap!
How long do I need to wait to rinse off after my initial spray?
For most solutions, processing time is a minimum of 8 hours until first rinse. We also offer express-rinse tans, where you can rinse in just 2-5 hours depending upon your desired shade! (express tans are the fan favorite!)
I'm a bride and have never had a spray tan before!
Congrats! We're so excited to have you. First you'll want to schedule a trial tan at least 3 weeks before the wedding! This way we can ensure you your desired shade come wedding tan!
Is the express tan just as good as a classic or luxury?
ABSOLUTELY. It has become our most popular sold tan.
Can I get burnt After a spray tan?
Yes, please protect yourself with a spray-tan friendly sunblock! Sunscreens that contain alcohol will dry your skin and strip your tan. Getting burnt with a spray tan will cause your tan to peal and appear uneven. (We highly suggest using SUN BUM branded sunscreen!)
How often should I be getting a spray tan?
This is entirely up to you, your skin and your schedule! Majority of our clients come in every other week! A ton, come in once a week! We offer monthly memberships and packages for the dedicated sisters!
I'm not sure if i'd be allergic to your products?
Our solutions are completely all-natural, vegan &gluten-free! However, we understand senstivity to natural products! Simply email/call us and we'll give you some times to swing by the salon to do a patch test!
When should I get my nails done?
Getting your nails done 1-3 days prior to your tan is ideal! When getting your nails done after, you run the risk of the nail tech scrubbing off your tan. If you are getting your nails done the same day as your tan, be sure to tell the technician to not apply lotion or exfoliate your skin!
PS: all other beauty regimens should be done 1-3 days before your tan (hair color, massages, facials, lashes, etc.) !
Do I have to wear underwear during my session?
We are legally required to have our clients where underwear! We have disosables at the salon!
