Schedule whichever tan seems to suit you! But don’t worry. We will do a full consultation with you at your appointment and decide together which tan & enhancements you’ll need that day.
-
I have a package or membership. How do I schedule?
Download the Vagaro app to manage your sessions! You will simply schedule as usual and your tans will be deducted from your package/membership at the time of your appointment.
-
Is an express tan or signature tan better?
80% of our clients select express tans simply due to the convenience of being able to rinse sooner & develop the same maximum results. Clients who select a signature (8-12 hour development time) typically come at night and need to “sleep on” their tans. Neither is better than the other. It’s just simply what works for you, your skin & your schedule.
-
Will the tan stain my clothes?
The bronzer from the tan may rub off onto your clothes, sheets, etc. That is why we do suggest wearing long-sleeved, dark clothing to wear while your tan is processing until your first rinse! The Adam Sandler is recommended always.
-
What types of payment do you accept?
Cash is preferred! We also accept debit, credit & Apple Pay. Unfortunately, we do not accept Visa Gift Cards or checks.
-

-
Will my skin care fade my tan?
Your spray tan needs hydration. So hydrating skin care is great! However, anti-aging & exfoliating products will fade your tan. AHAs, Retina-A, Tretinoin, toners, Salicylic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Accutane & similar products will fade your tan quickly. We highly recommend grabbing a face tan water at your next appt!
-
How will my oily skin affect my tan?
Clients with oily skin tend to develop less dark than dry skinned clients. We carry specific brands that assist with this and after a trial tan we may suggest a darker shade and/or longer development time. We will troubleshoot till we get it just right for ya.
-
Why can't I use dove soap?
It’s mean to spray tans. It blocks it from developing properly & then if used post tan it can fade it faster & alter the tone.
-
What soaps & lotions should I avoid?
It’s best to avoid any products that contain alcohol, mineral oil, sulfates, parabens, and fragrance. Simply put, it’s best to use all-natural products or products made for spray tans.

What is the #1 product I need to help my tan?
A GREAT LOTION! Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate. Our personal favorites are our Glazed lotion (in-salon only) , Hempz, La & Roche-Posay & Illiyoon. We also recommend - Native, Cetaphil, Cerave & Vanicream.
-
When should I exfoliate?
24-48 hours before your tan! With an oil-free body scrub. Avoid TREE HUT brand! We personally recommend First Aid Beauty Bump Eraser. Or anything similar!
-
I have sunburn. Can I get a spray tan?
If you have had unprotected sun exposure within 3 weeks of your spray tan. We highly recommend waiting until your skin is fully healed. A spray tan over damaged skin can develop extremely blotchy & uneven.
-
I have bad tan lines. Can you cover them with a tan?
We can absolutely “help” tan lines depending upon how vast the contrast is between the pale & tan areas. However, spray tans are not paint. The lighter areas will still appear lighter.
-
How often should I be getting a spray tan?
We have tons of clients who get sprayed weekly or every 12-14 days! It simply depends on your schedule! A tan will typically last 7-10 days depending upon how well you care for it. Just remember you always need to “remove” an old tan before getting a new one. Our favorite tan remover is the Rose & Caramel 60 second tan remover + exfoliating gloves.
-
I'm not sure if I'd be allergic to your products?
Our solutions are completely all-natural, vegan & gluten-free! However, we understand senstivity to natural products! Simply email/call us and we'll give you some times to swing by the salon to do a patch test!
-
When should I get my nails done?
Getting your nails done 1-3 days prior to your tan is ideal! When getting your nails done after, you run the risk of the nail tech scrubbing off your tan. If you are getting your nails done the same day as your tan, be sure to tell the technician to not apply lotion or exfoliate your skin!
PS: all other beauty regimens should be done 1-3 days before your tan (hair color, massages, facials, lashes, etc.) !
-

Your tan can most definitely be affected during times of ovulation, menstruation, menopause and pregnancy. The tan can process lighter. Keep us informed so we can help make application tweaks!

I am a spray tan virgin. What should I expect?
HI! We promise you’re safe here :) What all spray tan newbies need to know is that spray tans are not a one size fits all. We need to get to learn you, your skin, your habits & your expectations. It may take us a few tans to get YOU right on the money. All you have to do is follow the prep info on our tan care page, show up with very loose dark clothes at your scheduled time slot & then we will do a thorough consultation in house with you & guide you through the whole process. The tan itself only takes 8-12 minutes :)
